Religulous
 - Wadham College
The Atheists will be meeting this Friday at 8pm in Wadham College to watch Bill Maher's hilarious, notorious film 'Religulous'. Maher's globe-trotting quest to understand religion was always going to be controversial, but it has also been hugely successful - currently one of the top 10 all-time highest grossing documentaries in America. All are welcome - this will be a social event with no charge for attendance.

Dr Joseph Trakalo is a researcher in geonomics at the Wellcome Trust Centre in Oxford, as well as an active atheist and humanist.

"God and Morality" - what difference does the supposition that there is a God make to morality? A prominent Oxford philosopher of Religion, Prof. Swinburne will be speaking to us about the differences he feels there are between religious and non-religious morality.

"Secularisation - Myth and reality?" An Oxford theologian, Dr Zachhuber will be speaking to us on the currently controversial topic of secularisation theories.

Think Week
 - Oxford
"22nd-28th February (6th week of next term) will be Think Week in Oxford - an awareness week for atheism, humanism, secularism and rationality in general. This will be a chance to explain terms like humanism, dispel common misconceptions, and talk and think about the important issues surrounding Atheism. This is aimed at the whole Oxford community, including the town and Brookes as well as Oxford University. As such, it will be a joint event by OxAth, the Secular Society, the Oxford Humanists and the Oxford Sea of Faith group. We're trying to get other groups on board as well. Also please get in touch if you know any organisations which might want to be involved. More importantly, put this in your diaries and come along to the dazzling array of talks and discussions and Q&As and socials..."
